Pancreatic cancer awareness month is November. I hate pancreatic cancer, also known as the silent cancer. My father died in August 2011 from pancreatic cancer. Most times when diagnosed it has already progressed to stage four. My father only lived about a year after diagnosis. A high school friend of mine, Jenny Kreider, just lost her father to the same thing. There is only a 6%, five year life expectancy after diagnosis. Most people never hear about how serious pancreatic cancer is, because the majority of cancer information we hear about is breast cancer, lung cancer, and leukemia. I am happy to see that pancreatic cancer is getting some "recognition."
On a more positive note, yesterday's gratitude for me was having such a wonderful father.
I've had a very peaceful weekend. Must send a thank you to BOBOS oat bars for sending me samples of their gluten free products, also received my Pickybars. I love getting packages. I ordered a five pound bag of wheatgrass seeds that should keep a steady supply in my house. I got the last bundle of wheatgrass at Petsmart for $7. I thought that was ridiculous, did a little research and determined that I could grow the same amount for .25 cents.
Have a restful Sunday and remember to sparkle, and be grateful.

How was your weekend?
What are you grateful for today?
Have you ever known someone who had pancreatic cancer?
Is anyone out there,? Anyone?
